Please note that New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas are observed by the trash hauler.  If those holidays fall before or on the normal collection day then service will be delayed by one day.  

With warm weather here, please review how you can help make our neighborhood look its best.  These are some basic items Homeowners are responsible for and are appreciated by your neighbors.

• Common Area Care
• Seeding in front or back of your unit
• Care of flowers/bushes planted by resident or previous residents around your unit
• Consistent watering of lawns/shrubs/trees (especially during extreme heat)
• Basic lawn clean up -- pick up trash and sticks, pulling weeds in the front area by bushes, pulling up “freebie/sucker” trees around unit
• Miscellaneous items should NOT be left outside around units for extended periods of time.
• Store garbage bins out of sight.

The board would like to notify the community that grilling is not allowed within 10ft of any unit or combustible constructions.  Please see the City of Overland Park's Grilling Restrictions for more information.

As most of you know, College Park Villas Homes Association is a maintenance provided community. Along with providing maintenance, the Association maintains a blanket insurance policy for the benefit of every Owner and Mortgagee. As the Association prepares to renew its insurance policy with American Family, the board of directors recommend that residents look to add Loss Assessment Coverage to their individual policy. You are not required to have the added coverage but having this added policy would aid you should the Association have to special assess the membership due to a loss claim. For more information of what a loss assessment is, the coverage it provides, and how this additional policy can aid residents please read below.
